F.A.Q.

We know you have questions. Storks of New Orleans serves the Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes.

How much does a baby announcement sign cost?

The cost for renting our stork lawn announcement sign is $100.00. This includes the cost of the keepsake bundle. The cost of a new baby announcement sign is less than sending flowers, it’s more fun and the impact lasts much longer!

Where do you deliver?

We serve New Orleans, Metairie, Jefferson, Kenner, St. Bernard, and some parts of The Westbank and St. Charles Parish.

What service do you offer for multiple births?

We set up a separate sign for each baby. The first sign is priced at the regular rate of $100.00, the second sign is $70.00 and the third sign is $60.00. The parents keep the bundles that are personalized for each baby.

When do you deliver and pick up the displays?

We make every effort to deliver within 24 hours of your order.  Our rental period is for 7 days, but if you’d like to keep your sign longer, just let us know and we will certainly try to accommodate.

How do I place my order? How do I pay for your service?

You may call and leave us a message, and we will return your call as soon as we can, or, you can send a text to our Stork Line 504-812-3676.

When the baby arrives, you can send us a text with the following details:

  • Baby’s first and middle names, and gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Weight
  • Length
  • Delivery address

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Venmo. If paying by Card, we will call for card number.  If paying by Venmo, we will provide our Venmo Name at the time you place your order.

If you are ordering the stork as a gift, please let the recipient know that a sign will be placed on their lawn. If the sign is to be a surprise, please let someone in the family know.  There is no refund for early removal, or, if the new parents decide they don’t want the sign on their lawn.

Can I mow the lawn with the sign?

Please do not move the sign.  If you mow your yard during the sign rental period, PLEASE be careful around the sign and avoid trimming close to the base of the signs, as weed whackers may damage our signs!
